About Us

Fenmoor Blacksmiths is the vision of Gavin Lonsdale.  Over 20 years ago Gavin walked through the door of Godbold Blacksmiths in Egton looking for a Saturday job.  It was from this point he began his career as a Blacksmith. 
In 2003 he qualified in his craft and has continued to create many outstanding pieces of both practical and decorative metalwork.  For over two decades Gavin has had the privilege of working for James, and the knowledge and experience he has gained has been invaluable.  Now it is time for Gavin to move forward with Fenmoor Blacksmiths and continue with his passion for creating beautiful, quality pieces of metalwork from our forge in Pickering.
